Krampus is ready to spread his holiday terror on unsuspecting Orlando guests. Halloween Horror Nights 26 is getting a Krampus themed maze. Fans of the 2015 Christmas horror film know the story. For those who haven’t seen it, Universal has provided the following introduction:

The dead of winter sets the stage for the terror that’s about to unfold one cold, dank and dreary Christmas Eve as the fabled anthropomorphic “half-goat, half-demon” horned creature emerges to terrorize those devoid of holiday spirit. In scenes lifted from the film, guests will navigate the dysfunctional Engel family home to encounter the evil ancient spirit of Krampus – the dark shadow of Saint Nicholas – and his band of Dark Elves and sinister Gingerbread Men, who cause the family to fight to see the light of day.

Krampus joins The Exorcist, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Halloween as the 4th maze for the event. In total there will be nine mazes at this year’s event. Krampus is rumored to take over one of the Shrek 4-D theaters.

Krampus is also rumored as a theme for a Scare Zone during HHN26. Details on the Scare Zone are scant, but the rumor states Production Central will be the location. We believe Krampus himself will only be appearing inside the maze. The Dark Christmas theme and some his helpers will be taking over the Scare Zone.
