May 22, 2017Starting on August 20, 2017 the daytime parade at Magic Kingdom will be moving up an hour. Guests and locals have known for the longest time that the parade usually begins at 3 o’clock.
The Festival of Fantasy Parade will begin at 2:00pm each day at the Magic Kingdom. This change comes during a time where Magic Kingdom still doesn’t have a nighttime parade.
Rumors have been circulating for some time that the Paint the Night Parade which debuted during Disneyland’s 60th celebration may make its way to Walt Disney World.
Moving Festival of Fantasy up an hour would help with the entertainment heavy evenings in Magic Kingdom. It also allows teams behind the scenes more time to ready parade floats between the shows.
