Pirates of the Caribbean will soon be a lot more politically correct. Beginning on July 24th in Disneyland Paris, there will be new show scenes added and some old favorites removed.<\/p>\n

The biggest announcement is that the Redhead auction scene will be history. The redhead will instead be assisting the pirates in pilfering the local’s goods.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll even discover that a familiar character is playing a new role joining the pirate’s ranks and helping the local townspeople \u201cunload\u201d their valuables at the Mercado auction. In the U.S., this famous redhead will appear in a similar scene at the Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland park in 2018 following a previously scheduled refurbishment. The changes to this scene will be seen in both Disneyland and Walt Disney World in 2018. Until then, “WE WANTS THE REDHEAD!” will remain a staple of the attraction.<\/p>\n
