Today Disney unveiled more information about the new nighttime show that is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Disney says:\u00a0“When our new nighttime spectacular \u201cRivers of Light\u201d opens at Disney\u2019s Animal Kingdom, it\u2019ll be one of the most memorable and emotionally stirring shows in the park\u2019s history.”<\/p>\n

Here’s more information on the show:<\/p>\n

The show will take place on Discovery River between Discovery Island and Expedition Everest \u2013 take a close look and you can you see the Tree of Life in the background. In \u201cRivers of Light,\u201d a pair of mystical hosts come to the river bearing gifts of light. During the show, the hosts set out from the shore on elaborate lantern vessels for a dramatic dance of water and light to summon animal spirits. With the storytellers as your guides, the wonders of \u201cRivers of Light\u201d builds to a stunning crescendo.<\/p>\n

To create \u201cRivers of Light,\u201d Imagineers and Creative Entertainment partnered with the talents of master puppet designer Michael Curry, composer Mark Mancina and the filmmakers at Disneynature. According to Imagineer Joe Rohde, the addition of \u201cRivers of Light\u201d to the park\u2019s offerings will serve as that huge \u201cwow\u201d moment that ends a guest\u2019s visit to the park.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
