September 14, 2015Today Disney has announced that the Indiana Jones based Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar will be opening on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. This adds yet another place to dine and enjoy drinks waterside at Disney Springs.
A new aviation-themed lounge, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, will feature unique cocktails and small plates at its prime location along Lake Buena Vista. Ardent fans of the “Indiana Jones” films may recognize Jock Lindsey as Indy’s frequent pilot. In the main room, guests will discover an expansive bar, aviation decor filling the room, vintage travel posters covering the walls and correspondence between Jock, Indy and their fellow adventurers on display.
With unique foods, cocktails, and scenery; fans have been waiting to try Jock’s since it was announced. We can guarantee that this will be a popular addition to Walt Disney World. Hopefully, it will fall in line with the other new unique bar on property: Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto.
