March 28, 2016The Writer’s Stop in Hollywood Studios will stay open for the time being. We had reported that the café would be closing on April 2 along with the back half of the park. This is no longer the case.
Disney has stated that the Writer’s Stop will now stay open and will have new choices for food and merchandise. The shop will now serve small plates along with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic refreshments. The coffee shop will also remain as it is.
Disney is hoping that a lounge next to Sci-Fi Dine-In will attract guests while they wait for their table.
Starting April 3, 2016 Writer’s Stop will be open from 11:30am until one hour before Sci-Fi Dine-In closes.
