Disney’s Animal Kingdom will step up its nighttime offerings starting on Memorial Day. Several new shows and attractions will make their debut on Memorial Day weekend.

Originally scheduled to open this week, Rivers of Light is one of the new attractions. This nighttime water show had a sneak peak today for select members of media. During the #AwakenSummer event, Disney also dropped some more details on what is coming.

Jungle Book: Alive with Magic will bring elements of the live action version of “The Jungle Book”. Music and special effects are set to a celebration of the new film along with an Indian influence.

The Tree of Life Awakens is a new light show that is full of scenes celebrating animals. The Tree of Life will come alive with projections featuring magical fireflies. The fireflies will share their stories of the animal spirits with guests.

Kilimanjaro Safaris After Dark brings guests into the African savanna at night. You can enjoy the Kilimanjaro Safaris under new lighting to explore well into the night.

Harambe Wildlife Parti is a special party in Harambe village. The streets come to life with African music and exotic foods and drinks.

Discovery Island Carnivale brings guests and the local inhabitants of Harambe together. Expect music, dancers, stilt walkers, and special foods.

Finally, Tiffins will begin serving guests on or around Memorial Day. Tiffins is the new and only signature dining location in Animal Kingdom. Guests can also expect their favorite rides to be open during the night. Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids, and more will be operating well into the night.
