July 29, 2016Pizza Planet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios never exactly hit the mark. It was too far removed from Toy Story Midway Mania and the food just wasn’t good. With Toy Story Land on the horizon and Star Wars moving in right next door, Pizza Planet didn’t seem to have a place anymore.
We know at least one of those issues is fixed. The restaurant is already in Muppet Courtyard which makes a lot more sense for a Rizzo restaurant. The look of PizzeRizzo is inspired by a New York City pizza joint. It blends in well with the rest of the area.
If the outside is getting this many details; we can’t wait to see how the inside compares. So far we know that the different rooms are themed around different parts of an Italian pizza parlor.
In addition to the expansive indoor and outdoor seating area, guests will be able to dine in a “cheesy” banquet room, or take five in a special booth designated just for Rizzo’s celebrity friends. – Disney Parks Blog
