July 15, 2016The Polite Pig has pestered Disney fans over the past few weeks. The upcoming restaurant had placed posters and artwork on the façade of their store leaving fans guessing what could be next for Disney Springs. Since nearly all stores and restaurants were accounted for, this place was somewhat of a mystery.
The Polite Pig will showcase local Florida cuisine, and wood-fire smoked and grilled items. James and Julie Petrakis are the chef duo behind The Ravenous Pig and Cask & Larder. Their other establishments are favorites on the Orlando restaurant scene.
Not much is known about the establishment at this time. We have heard that aside from their meatier offerings, they will also be featuring local and craft beers on tap. This makes another great addition to the growing bar scene at Disney Springs.
The owners are looking to bring the tastes of Central Florida to guests from around the world. There’s no better way to do that than to open at Disney Springs Town Center. Look for The Polite Pig to open in Spring of 2017.
