This evening special guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom were treated to a special one-time show on the Tree of Life that showcased the wonders of the park. Although the show was brief, it did give us something new and spectacular. We were treated to the presence of drones in the sky.

The drones were last used around the holidays during the Starbright Holidays Drone Show at Disney Springs. Then, 300 drones filled the skies to create different shapes, patterns, and images relating to the holidays. This show was a little more subdued, but the way it mixed in with the tree and stars above seemed a lot more natural.

The Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom lit up in celebration of the new land, Pandora – The World of Avatar as it glows with bioluminescence at night. Pandora brings a variety of exciting experiences to the park, including the family friendly attraction Na’vi River Journey, the exhilarating 3-D attraction Avatar Flight of Passage, as well as dining and merchandise locations.
