October 23, 2015After being in a soft opening stage for a little under a month, NBC Sports Grill and Brew at Universal Orlando Resort’s City Walk is now open to the public.
A small grand opening ceremony was held inside the restaurant with personalities from the NBC and Universal owned sports networks. Bob Costas, Cris Collinsworth, Hines Ward and Michele Tafoya were the main guests, and they were also joined by personalities from The Golf Channel for the actual grand opening celebration.
Other than the red carpet affair outside of the restaurant, the actual grand opening event was fairly reserved and low-key.
NBC Sports Grill & Brew replaced the NASCAR Sports Grille and offers a very large menu to choose from. Items of note are the Wisconsin Cheese Curds and the Banana Cake which is large enough to feed an NFL defensive line.
