January 15, 2016The attraction will close on April 2, 2016 to make way for Star Wars within Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Disney has also announced that more will be closing on April 2nd within DHS, but no comment has been made on what will be closing.
The 14 acre Star Wars Land is expected to start construction shortly after the closing of “Lights, Motors, Action!”. Currently Hollywood Studios hosts the Star Wars Launch Bay as well as an updated version of Star Tours featuring The Force Awakens.
“Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show” opened in the U.S. on May 5, 2005. It still remains a popular attraction in the Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris.
